This is to avoid any confusion, where a later version of Daisy is installed on a computer that is running a specialist program written by another company or programmer using our components.

There are also subtle differences between the 'Internal' components and those available for purchase :-

1. Registration in Daisy must cope with all of the different versions, whereas the components are either registered or not!

2. Third-party components are used in Daisy, but not in the components available for licence.
