Daisy 4D can send E-Mails and text or SMS messages directly from all or selected records in the database without opening a program such as Outlook.

E-Mails are created by typing in the subject, body and an optional attachment, which are then assembled and passed to Outlook for distribution on the Internet.

Text messages are created by typing in the body, which is then assembled and passed to Outlook for distribution on the Internet using a service such as LiquidDrop.

This indirect process is used as it means that all text messages are then stored in the Sent Items folder of Outlook.
