Clipping is used to process call detail record files or CDRs from a web site such as those used by O2.

These companies do not provide a direct file download of the data, so the records have to be copied from the web site to the Windows clipboard by selected them with the mouse and then using the keystroke, control-C. The record are then pasted into the text box in the Clip dialog using Load Data.

Field or columns are then applied to the data, before using Test Data to test the data and Save Data to store it as a comma-separated file.

Note that some files have mutiple columns to handle such things as dates. Just use the same field name for each column in the clipped data.
