Daisy can now create a CSV database/template file pair that can be used as an example or for recreating Daisy Charts.
  • The database is saved as a standard CSV File, with field names in the first line.

If any selection is applied to create the Daisy Chart, this will be applied when the database is saved.

  • The template follows all the rules and can be used with any compatible database.

  • Both files have the same name with .txt and .dyt extensions respectively.

  • Comments can be added to the template if required.

Saving of examples is controlled from the main Save Database command in the File menu or from the toolbar.

Saving an Example

In this example, the NewmarketWinners example is being saved as Winners, with an appropriate comment.
