One of the problems of any program is that you spend several hours getting the ultimate presentation or demonstration of the problem absolutely right and then you forget the route you took to create it!

This is not so much a problem with something like Microsoft Word or Excel, where the final document or workbook is the presentation in it's own right.

But with Daisy this is not so, as you have to get a database and add to it the settings to create a Daisy Chart. And then often that chart is drawn each day!

The Save in Daisy 2001 now incorporates a special command, that allows you to save the database and the settings for the chart as a pair of files, that can be used to recreate the required Daisy Chart, almost immediately.

The process of setting up these database/template pairs of files, was described in the previous section.

Daisy 2001 also has the ability to create a Showcase or a directory, where all of these examples can be saved.

Put the Showcase on a server, that is available to all and you have the ability to share all of your examples with colleagues and friends.
