Daisy Lite 2001 ADO and Daisy 4D 2001 have been upgraded, in that they can now read any database through a Microsoft MDAC/ADO/OLEDB connection.

This is in addition to the databases that can be read by Daisy 2000 which were as follows :-

  1. Comma Separated Files including larger fields and those that contain newline characters such as CR and LF.

  2. Tab Separated Files.

  3. Microsoft Excel Workbooks.

  4. Web Site Log Files.

In addition, Daisy can now read and save databases with any user-defined delimiter, such as a semi-colon (;).

Several Example Databases have been added to all versions of the software. Others have been added for Daisy 2001.

See Databases under New Features for Daisy 2000 for more details on changes introduced with the previous version.
