Daisy 2001 follows all the normal connection rules, which allow a full SQL statement to be applied to a database.

Although these can include simple databases, such as Microsoft Access, the method can be applied to large-scale databases like Oracle and SQL Server.

To use ADO with Daisy 2001, you must install the Microsoft Data Access Components. This is a free download from the Microsoft Web Site.

Note that you can also download Microsoft's Component Checker from this Web Site.

Do this and install the program, as Component Checker will tell you the version of ADO you have loaded and find all the mistakes you've made!
