ADO is Microsoft's 'one size fits all' method of connecting programs to databasesand can be used in both Daisy 4D 2001 and Daisy Lite 2001.

Daisy 2001 follows all the normal connection rules, which allow a full SQL statement to be applied to a database.

Although these can include simple databases, such as Microsoft Access, the method can be applied to large-scale databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
