Daisy 2001 is fully-compliant with Microsoft's ActiveX standard for automating one program from another.
Click to Learn More About ActiveX
Use ActiveX to add Daisy data mining and visualisation to your program or computer system.
For instance you might add a Daisy button to database views or the reporting, in your program, so that you can analyse them graphically.
All you need to do is add the Daisy Run Button code to your program and then load Daisy with the required data.
Daisy 2001 Plus is the program with the interface and you must have a fully-registered version of the program installed for automation to work.
Daisy 4D 2001 does not have an interface.
When you installed Daisy 2001, three other programs were installed :-
- Daisy Opener - A program for opening databases and drawing Daisy Charts.
- Daisy Example Viewer - A program for displaying the various examples.
- Daisy Run Button - A simple calling program for Daisy. Note that this program is not added to the Windows Start Menu.
All of these programs are simple Visual Basic programs and full source code was installed in the Source sub-directory with Daisy 2001.
Run and examine the source of these programs.
